It's not hooked up. Orange means looking for downstream signal. Sounds like if you want to move it to that cable outlet you need to have Cox come hook it up. This happened to me too. I moved to a new place and hooked up the modem but it would not stop blinking orange. The rep said a Cox tech would have to come fix it.
