Randy is correct, 450 gas and LP tractors used 4.125 flat tops for standard elevation when built. 400 used step heads for LP until IH started using the same head as a 450 LP on them. It has the smallest combustion chamber of any IH made that will work on 6 series engines. 400,450 gasoline was the next smallest after that. M through SMTA gasoline was the next smallest after that.

M-MTA have a line that runs over to the stock air cleaner that hooks up in the back of the head. 400-450, vents thru the valve cover. so get a 400-450 valve cover, or add it to a M valve cover. not an oil line.
