The primary thing I think was they reduced the amount of the carry melt treatment a little. The basic difference between Series II and pre-series II (like yours) is the Series II guns have a Swartz firing pin safety.
I have an Ultra Carry, and the Compact CDP. Difference in size being the lenggth of the barrell. They both have a shorter grip than a standard 45, which makes them easier to conceal. Barrel length is not really a concern if you're talking about concealability. Grip length is. accuracy is as good as you'll find on any gun.

Here's one I can speak from experience on. I own both. The Ultra Carry is a stainless model with alloy frame and of course the Glock I reference is the 36. Kimber weighs 25.0 oz. and 8 rounds capacity. Glock 36 weighs 20.0 oz. and 7 rounds capacity. Side by side they both carry great. I have a Pro CDP as well as an Ultra Raptor and Ill be darned if I feel the Ultra shoots better than the Pro. I am sure someone else would problably shoot the Pro better than the Ultra. It does not matter all that much really, they both shoot very, very, well. I carry them both. Some times you feel like a nut and sometimes you dont.:biglaugh:
