I have to go under the hood and pump up my diesel fuel system - located on the passenger side of the engine. After 6-10 pumps its firm and she fires right up.No communication with TCM. No communication with Glow Plug Control Module. P0113. P0090. P0098. Pulled every connector apart and put them in plastic bags with silica packets for 48 hours. Used WD40 and wire dryer on connections. Went to start truck and voltages were all over the place. Lights dimming and brightening repeatedly.2011 Duramax LML no start. 2011 lml, no crank and no start. While driving the truck I hit a small pothole in the pavement and the engine died, would crank but no start. Disconnected the batteries for several minutes, then reconnected batteries but still no start. Had crank position sensor code, crank but no start. Replaced sensor and charged up the batteries.

Hey John, FYI I found out the injectors NEED minimum 1500 PSI of rail pressure to open, at least the LML with piezo injectors do, and I'd bet the older ones do too. Put the other end into the container and run the engine to fill that line. Then shut it off and remove the IGN 1 relay from beside the starter relay. empty out the container and keep the line full. Crank the engine for 15 seconds fully and measure the amount of fuel that comes out of that line.

It doesn't throw it every time it happens and it clears itself before the 40 warm up cycles that it is supposed to.
