This Templar 250 looks like fun. It has a nice long list of better components. But I am going to stick with my Storm for now, and help my son learn to ride and grow into his new TBR7. Depending on how things go (financially), I am still focusing on the GPX TSE 250R.The Templar is carbed which is a bummer for where I live, but it has a 249cc engine as opposed to the 229. It’s also a 6 speed as opposed to the 5 speed on the hawk 250. I’d mostly be doing city driving, maybe taking it out on some country roads or little highways in the hills during the weekends.

Any long term update on this? Price vs performance seems very attractive, especially if you want to have a spare bike for friends and family or add a dirt bike to your collection.
